Phone Banking 101

We are making a lot of calls – and need to make more since we can’t door knock this year. We’ll be sending a reminder out an hour before that day’s phone bank with the Zoom link.

Getting Trained

Our phone banks are built to be a extremely positive, collaborative experience. We use Zoom and our staff will be there with you the entire time. We start out with a training if you haven’t phone banked with us before.

Our Field Organizer (Jon) does an incredible job helping everyone get up and running on calls. We’ll need a login set up for you to make calls, so please give us a heads up that you’d like to join for a call by emailing [email protected].

Making Calls

After that, you use your phone (we can help you get a google voice number if you are uncomfortable using your personal phone number) and make calls to Shakopee residents for a couple of hours alerting them to absentee balloting and letting them know why you support our campaign.

Knowing who to call is super simple. We send you a link with the constituent’s information and you give them a call.
